Harper showcased our great community

I was a previous resident of Willow Springs, MO nearly five decades ago. For that reason, I cannot tell you how proud I was to see Hannah Harper win the American Idol competition this year! I am an avid American Idol fan as it is, and was sooo amazed by her audition, let alone that she was from my hometown of Willow Springs!! Watching her performances from week-to-week, then earning her way into the final three was phenomenal to witness. I especially enjoyed seeing the hometown visit and the way the community supported her, which was no surprise after having experienced that small town atmosphere so many years ago! Thank you, Hannah Harper, for putting Willow Springs, MO on the map and showcasing such a tremendous community for the nation to see! May much well-deserved success be the norm in your life’s continued journey.
