Are you “A Concerned Citizen?”

If you are, I received your (anonymous) letter. It is very good, and makes very important points about the Willow Springs school district. It’s important to me that you know you’re not the only tipster who is worried about exactly the same things. 

 

I would love to publish your letter, but I won’t. Not without a name. 

 

Consider having the courage of your well-intentioned convictions and calling the office to identify yourself or email me at editor@howellcountynews.com. 

 

Take it from me – saying the hard, important, and unpopular thing—is a little scary. This year alone, I’ve received hate mail from the adult children and some parents of current board members. I survived. 

You will too. 

 

Your questions are important. Let’s ask them together in the way we expect the school board to operate – transparently.
