Thomas “Pete” Conley

Thomas “Pete” Conley was born April 8, 1944, in Allentown, New Jersey, to Green and Carrie (Gayheart) Conley. He departed this life on February 22, 2025, at West Vue Nursing Center, West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 80.
 
Pete was united in marriage to Marguerite Madelyn “Lynn” Cooper on Oct 5, 1963, in Clementon, New Jersey. To this union, they have two children, Dina and David.
 
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Conley; his parents, Green and Carrie Conley; four brothers, Drannon, Paul, Bill, and Jonas; and three sisters, Ruby, Dovie, and Gay.
 
He is survived by his two children, Dina Shearin (husband Jessie) of West Plains, MO, and David Conley (wife Lindsey) of Centerton, AR; seven grandchildren, Leslee Ruengert, Jace Harring, Dylan Conley, Avery Conley, Anna Conley, Reese Conley, and Chaska Shearin; two great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Adam Ruengert; two sisters, Charlotte Roesing and Darlene Anderson; and one brother, Jerry Conley.
 
Pete attended St John Vianney Catholic Church in Mountain View. He was retired and spent most of his time working around his home and he loved to hunt. He also leaves behind his dog, and best friend, Belle.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 28, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mountain View, MO, with Fr. Nicholas Newton officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9-10:15 a.m. also at the church. Interment was in St. John Vianney Catholic Cemetery, Mountain View. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
