Celebrating a Life of Quiet Strength and Lasting Impact
Ross F. Donner, a beloved friend, brother, and father, passed away leaving behind a legacy of quiet intelligence, brilliant observation, and sharp wit on March 19, 2026, in West Plains, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Donner; his mother, Beverly Donner; his stepmother, Aecha Donner; and his sister, MaryBeth Donner.
Ross is survived by his devoted children: Justin Donner, John and Julia (neé Kadah) Donner, and Brian and Caitlin (neé Donner) Zircher. He also leaves behind his loving brothers, Curt Donner and Bruce Donner, who will cherish his memory always.
Those who knew Ross appreciated his masterful skills in the kitchen, his dry humor, and his prolific ability as a mechanic. He had spreadsheets for everything, a testament to his organized and analytical mind. Ross was a passionate advocate for the Second Amendment, a lover of the United States, and a big Sasquatch enthusiast. He was a proud member of the Sons of AmVets.
Thinking before speaking was a principle Ross lived by, and listening was a skill he valued deeply. His presence, shaped by thoughtful consideration and genuine engagement, touched many lives and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.
