Kirk David Richwine

Kirk David Richwine, age 70, Willow Springs, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Kirk was born on January 17, 1952, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Gerald Richwine and Doris (Christ) Richwine. After high school Kirk enlisted in the Army National Guard and was stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri where he fell in love with the Ozark hills. After discharge, Kirk left Pennsylvania and moved to Missouri where he remained for the rest of his life.
Kirk was an avid gardener, motorcyclist, and musician. He enjoyed cooking and helping in the kitchen, mushroom hunting, and had a strong passion for nature and all animals. He was a funny, charismatic, and loyal friend and companion. Anyone who knew him knew the generous spirit he had and that he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Kirk was a longtime employee of Town & Country Supermarket in both Houston and Willow Springs. Kirk later worked at various jobs including Poppitz Orchard and eventually started his own business, Cracker Jack Cleaning.
Kirk is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Doris Richwine and one step-son, Tim. 
He is survived by his companion, Suehelen Gritton; one daughter, Megan Frey and husband Keith; three grandchildren; Gabrielle, Hannah, and Tyler; one brother, Bruce Richwine, and numerous other family members, friends and acquaintances. Kirk will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved him. 
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri with Pastor Scott Williamson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 5-6:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Private interment was held in Dripping Springs Cemetery, West Plains, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.  Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
