James David “JD” Duddridge was born August 27, 1952, in Willow Springs, Missouri, the son of Raymond and Maxine (Murray) Duddridge.
He attended Willow Springs Schools and graduated in the class of 1970. He was pastor of Forest Dell Community Church for over 20 years and retired in 2017 from Howell County Road and Bridge after 30 years of service.
James wed Debra Anderson of Mountain View, Missouri in June 1996. With that marriage, they each brought two sons.
He is survived by his wife Debra; sons, Brent (Gina) Anderson, Kip (Lindsay) Anderson, Justin (Cheri) Duddridge, and Eric (Heather) Duddridge; brother-in-law, Jeff (Mary) Anderson; two sisters, Linda Benyo, and Karolyn Due; and brother, Tony Duddridge. He is further survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Maxine; and sister, Janice (Duddridge) Grogan.
James and Debra had a blessed life in Pomona, Missouri, living in the house they built with family and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at First General Baptist Church, Willow Springs, Missouri, with Pastors Scott Williamson, Mark Willbanks, and Justin Duddridge officiating. Visitation was held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri. Interment was in Willow Springs City Cemetery, Willow Springs.
