Danny Graven

Danny Gene Graven, age 67, of West Plains, Mo passed away February 21, 2025, at his home that he shares with Linda Wulff. He was born July 5, 1957 in Cabool, Mo. to Gene and Ruby Graven.

 

Danny graduated from Cabool High School in 1975. He was married in September of 1975 to Patsy Wood. To this union three children were, Jonn, Jennifer, and Jared. Danny was very active in the Cabool community, where he served on the City Park Board, JC's (Junior Chamber of Commerce), coached little league sports, and was a lifetime supporter of Bulldog athletics, St. Louis Cardinals, and Kansas City Chiefs.

 

Danny spent 30 plus years selling insurance at Reliable Life and Casualty. Following his retirement, he spent his time on the farm. He enjoyed raising quality AKC Pembrook Welch Corgis, Dachshunds and miniature Australian Shepherds. He took great pleasure in raising pets that would enrich their owners' lives. He loved spending time with family and cheering the grandkids on in their sporting and academic activities. Danny is survived by Linda Wulff of the home, children Jonn Graven (Mychelle), Jennifer Sterner (Chris), and Jared Graven. 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, siblings Debra Osborn, Paula Moore (Terry), and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 

Danny is proceeded in death by his parents Gene and Ruby Graven, sister Diana Graven, and nephew Billy Moore.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations and contributions can be made directly to the Cabool High School office, designated to the Cabool Baseball Program.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday February 27, 2025, at 1 pm at the Cabool Christian Church in Cabool, MO
