Claude "Stacy" Nichols

Claude "Stacy" Nichols, 75, of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2026. He was born on July 12, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri, and carried his hardworking spirit and love for life with him wherever he went.

Stacy spent most of his life working as a mechanic, a trade he took great pride in. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures: fishing, camping, floating, and golfing. He also had a special love for cats and was known for feeding all the stray cats where he lived.

In the summertime, Stacy could often be found tending to his flowers, which he cared for daily. It was something he truly loved and took pride in, bringing beauty to his home and joy to his days.

He was happiest when surrounded by nature and the people he loved most. He was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family deeply.

Stacy is survived by his children, Claude Nichols, Jessica Nichols, and her husband Matt, Malinda Nichols, and Jason Nichols; his grandchildren, Kasey Nichols, Ryan Nichols, and Faith Nichols; his ex-wife and the mother of his children, Angela Nichols. He had seven brothers and five sisters.

Stacy will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic, and the many memories he created with those closest to him. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

A celebration of life will be held on May 23 at 3:00 p.m. All who knew and loved Stacy are welcome to come and celebrate his life with us.

We love him so much and already miss him dearly.
