Officer Ryan McGinnis conducted a wellbeing check on East Sixth Street. 
Officer Mark Templemere conducted a wellbeing check on West High Street. 
Officer Corey Clark investigated a subject found squatting in an abandoned semi at Snappy Mart. He located two small individual bags containing a crystal-like substance, a scale containing a crystal-like residue, and multiple clear small baggies on the subject. Charges will be pending for distribution of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Sgt. David Hocking conducted a wellbeing check on East Main St. 
Officer Templemere conducted a wellbeing check on West High Street. 
August 15
Officer Joe Barnhouse responded to Campbell St for a report of stealing.
Officer Katie Kreuser responded to North Grand for a complaint of trespassing.
August 16
Officer Hedlesten responded to a verbal domestic dispute on North Grand St. 
August 18
Deputy Chief Boyle assisted EMS with a medical call on East Main St. 
Lt. Michael Zeller and Officer Barnhouse responded to Campbell St for a report of an attempted suicide. 
August 19
Officer Templemere conducted a wellbeing check on East Fourth St.
Lt. Zeller responded to East Fourth St for a report of trespassing. 
Officers Barnhouse and McGinnis responded to McIntosh Trucking for a suspicious person. They trespassed one subject from the premises.
 
For the week officers: investigated two abandoned vehicles, assisted with two animal calls, assisted two motorists, conducted two escorts, conducted eight area checks, investigated eight suspicious circumstances or reports, spoke with eighteen individuals requesting or relaying information, returned requested contact with twelve people, spoke with four individuals in the department office, and issued forty-one traffic violations.
