The mail service in Mtn View must change

Dear editor,

The outrageous very late or loss of US MAIL from our UNITED STATES POST OFFICE IN MOUNTAIN VIEW, MISSOURI 65548 CONTINUES FOR OVER A YEAR, maybe longer. It has been reported last year by me to the LOCAL POSTMASTER AND TO US REPRESENTATIVE, JASON SMITH’S OFFICE. As of now nothing has been done to FIX the problems?

Over the past year 2025 and continuing this year 2026 my (as many others in community) have had their city utility bill late or missing. I have personally spoke to the local POSTMASTER AT MTN VIEW MO, MARK HACKWORTH last year, and did not get any satisfaction that he would address the problem, nor has any change occurred. I have got online and fixed the problem with city utility bill through the internet for me; and for most of the tax 1099s. BUT this week, I received four 1099 INTs from two different banks this week (April 23rd). Obviously, after I paid both taxes due to State and Federal. Two from a local bank and two from a bank in D.C. I had previously used the internet to get the 1099s from the bank in D.C. and had called local banks to have them send me a message of any 1099s which they did. However, because the larger of the 1099s was moved to another bank, it did not show to the local bank clerk at that time. Both banks responded, that they sent 1099s out by the First day of February, 2026! WHAT OTHER IMPORTANT MAIL IS MISSING AND WHERE IS IT BEEN ALL THIS TIME? SOME IS JUST LOST!

This seems like an easy fix. I would appreciate someone addressing this situation for all of us. Mail cost is up. Service is not?? Maybe the President is right. Privatize THE USPS.
