Calls for Service

August 15

Officer Kris Reinholdt arrested an individual with an outstanding warrant.

Officer Reinholdt issued a nuisance ordinance violation. 

August 16

Officer Megan Barnes responded to a call of suspicious activity. 

Cpl. Alexis Johnson received several calls on a subject reportedly charging vehicles while they were driving on the roadway. Officers located a subject coming out of the trees on N. Elm St. The subject refused to obey lawful orders and then resisted arrest, resulting in 3 officers being assaulted by way of being kicked, hit with elbows and spit on. They took the subject to the hospital in West Plains where he and continued to be combative with the hospital staff and officers. They then transported them to the Howell County Jail.

Officer Reinholdt investigated two nuisance ordinance violations. 

Officer Reinholdt investigated a report of property damage. They reviewed video surveillance footage. 

Officer Reinholdt took a report of missing medication. 

Officer Barnes assisted with a report of peace disturbance. 

Officers spoke to seven individuals requesting information or assistance and issued seven traffic warnings. 

August 17

Cpl. Kylie McGee assisted an individual with posting bond on an outstanding warrant. 

Officer Reinholdt spoke with Texas County Sheriff’s Office regarding a juvenile issue. 

Officer Dylan Cook took a report from a juvenile stating a parent struck them. He will forward the report to children’s division.

August 18

Officer Koleman McDaniel conducted a wellbeing check on an individual sleeping in a vehicle. 

August 21

Officer McDaniel investigated a minor vehicle accident involving a truck striking a gas pump. 

Officers issued five traffic warnings.
