Dear editor,

As a former newspaper carrier in my hometown in the 1980's, I can appreciate the thoughtful and well-composed newspaper that you deliver each week. I also appreciate your honesty and true nature of journalism in small town USA. I often send copies of the Howell County News to my Mom so she can read it too. (She's 900 miles away.)

So much of what we are exposed to in our daily lives is less than honest, and sometimes downright saddening. It is refreshing to see and read stories of substance and history. Not to mention the factual reporting of the local crimes, events, and general goings on.

I am thankful to your advertisers and columnists that submit stories each week, and I'm thankful for you and your family. Please continue your journey with pride, prayer, and peace in knowing that we your readers are supportive of your work and efforts.

Sincerely,
Wendy Landmark Cline
