W.P. teen is missing, considered endangered

The West Plains Police Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person last seen at 3592 US Highway 160 at 10:20 p.m. on August 10, 2026.

 

Mya Lynne McClung is a white female, aged 15. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs approximately 120 to 140 pounds, has brown hair, hazel eyes, and a fair complexion. She was last seen wearing a light blue tie-dye t-shirt and gray sweatpants.

 

McClung ran away from a residence in West Plains on the evening of August 10 and was last seen entering a wooded area near the intersection of US Highway 160 and Private Road 6350. She suffers from numerous mental health conditions and is without her required prescription medications.

 

Anyone seeing the missing person, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person, should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the West Plains Police Department at 417-256-2244.
