The show must go on

Frog-strangling storms on Saturday may have dampened interest in the first Music on Main event, but by 5:30, Willow Springs’ Main St. was shut down as planned to make way for the show. Molly Clair put on a performance of bluegrass classics under the awning of Pizza Americana.

 

A small, but enthusiastic crowd, gathered with lawn chairs on Main Street to watch the music. By 6:30, there was a crowd of about 20 spectators, with more parking and walking in. 

 

The July event will feature performances by 2026 Willow’s Got Talent winner Bella Brown and Charlie Nelson & The Jam Gang, for an evening of family-friendly entertainment. 

 

The show will go on on Saturday, July 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free. Downtown restaurants would appreciate your business, and there will be no outside vendors.
