Local appropriations headed to governor’s desk

As part of what Sen. Brad Hudson (R-Cape Fair) called a, “successful legislative session,” his office has released the accompanying list of appropriations across Missouri Senate district 33. As vice-chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Hudson’s announcement highlighted, “securing funding in the budget for infrastructure projects across the district, while also maintaining cuts to overall spending compared to last year.”

 

These expenditures are subject to approval or line-item veto by Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe. His deadline to approve this year’s budget as presented is June 30.
