JHSAR reading of Declaration of Independence

The Josiah Howell Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution on July 8th 2026 held two readings of the Declaration of Independence. This is the date in 1776 that the Declaration was revealed to the public. JHSAR did the first reading at 5pm at the Howell County Courthouse to coincide with the reading nationwide at the same time. The second reading was at 8:00 p.m. at McDonalds Field (AKA) Zizzer Stadium.
