On the Hunt James and Blake Robison of Summersville found candy and prizes among their loot at the annual Willow Springs Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Willow Springs Lions Club. The hunt was held Saturday afternoon at Booster Field, with an estimated 200 children in attendance. Members of the Willow Springs Lions Club on hand to assist with the annual Easter egg hunt included, front row from left, Greg Chaney, Philip and Gayla Chafin, Ana Mohrman, Yvonne Asher, Rick Chaplin, and Larry Thexton; back row, John and Valerie Bailey, Fran Thexton, Sue and Steve Rohrer, Dennis Asher, Robert Hollis, and Wendell Bailey. Bill Wood took a photo of his mother, Margaret, and daughter, Kinsley, age 6, with Olaf from Disney’s “Frozen,” as Bill’s son, 3-year-old Waylon, watched. Youngsters in the 3-5 age category made a run for it to pick up eggs as soon as the horn sounded starting the hunt. Children at the annual egg hunt had a chance at candy and prizes in 5,000 eggs at Saturday’s event. Age categories for the springtime fun were walking to 2 years, 3 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, and 9 and 10 years.
