Two contested committeeman races

At the primary election, each political party elects one committeeman and one committeewoman from each township to serve on the county committee of their party. When candidate filing closed in Howell County last week, three contested races emerged. 

 

For the Democrats, there are two candidates for committeewoman in the Howell Township: Jan Robertson and Sarah Wittenauer.

 

In the Republican party, races for Willow Springs Township are contested. Incumbents Devan and Emilee Daniels filed last week. They oppose Jim and Karen Harper for the committee seats, who filed earlier in March. 

 

Primary election day is August 4.
