Ozarks Healthcare Gainesville adds mental health therapist to clinic staff

Ozarks Healthcare Gainesville is adding a mental health professional from the Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center (BHC) to their clinic staff. Beginning Aug. 7, Kristina Ledbetter, mental health therapist, will begin seeing patients at the clinic on Mondays.
“I’m excited to be able to care for additional patients at Ozarks Healthcare in Gainesville,” Ledbetter said. “I was a kindergarten teacher at Gainesville Elementary for 22 years, and I look forward to serving my community in this new capacity. I have a passion for grief therapy, family therapy, and kids.”
Ledbetter is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which involves moving the eyes in a specific way to help patients process traumatic experiences or memories.
Ledbetter will see all ages of patients at Ozarks Healthcare Gainesville. Those who wish to schedule an appointment can call Ozarks Healthcare’s BHC at 417-257-6762 or Ozarks Healthcare Gainesville at 417-679-4613. An initial assessment will be scheduled with Ledbetter before starting therapy.
Ledbetter will be a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the fall, and plans to eventually add more time in the clinic to her schedule.
