WSHS Beta Club competes at state

Several members of the Willow Springs High School Beta Club competed at the State Beta Convention in Branson, Mo. on March 13-14. The Beta Club came home with numerous awards. Qualifying for the National Beta Convention were Eavanna Kharitonova with a second place finish in 10th grade Spelling, Tobie Brotherton with a third place finish in Division II Creative Writing, Karis Cochran with a third place finish in Division II Painting, and Adalynn Syler with a third place finish in 9th grade Language Arts. The Book Battle team of Emma McCary, Jase Jenson, Eavanna Kharitonova, and Karis Cochran came away with a 5th place finish.
 
The National Beta Convention will be held in Nashville, Tn. in June.
