First place winner Coastal-FMC / Bear Crossing Truck Wash & Tire Center / On the Floor rolled down Main Street as a movie theater.

Second place winner Willow Springs MFA with “Christmas Vacation.”

Third place winner Special Olympics with their float, “Buddy the Elf.”

Parade watchers bundled up and found shelter from the rain during the Christmas parade in downtown Willow Springs on Saturday.

December has barely begun, but Willow Springs is getting ready for Christmas. Saturday was a full day packed with holiday festivities all over town. Coordinated by the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce, the “Downtown Holli-Day” featured vintage Christmas cartoons at the Star Theatre, cookie decorating contests, visits from Santa, and culminated with the annual lighted Christmas parade.
