Willow Springs Head Starts holds car wash fundraiser Children and family members representing Willow Springs Head Start held a fundraiser car wash at Town & Country Supermarket on Saturday morning. Funds raised were going toward trips for the students, such as a fall trip to a local pumpkin patch, as well as Christmas gifts for students. Sheila Reese, chairman of the parent committee, said students typically are given a new coat at Christmas, along with other items. Individuals pictured include Tucker Tiger, Ben Wallace, Reese, Bristol Tiger, and Dakota Tiger. Young workers were busy with rags and sponges at the fundraiser car wash on Saturday.
