Harvey Daniel Corter, known to many as “Bucky,” was born on July 10, 1959, in Winfield, Kansas. He was welcomed home into Jesus’ open arms on February 9, 2026.
Bucky was preceded in death by his parents, Morris Corter and Phyllis Venn Corter Jackson; along with four siblings and other family members.
He is survived by two siblings; many nieces and nephews; two uncles; two aunts; numerous cousins; and his devoted caregivers.
Bucky lived the last two decades of his life in Sikeston, Missouri, where he was cared for and loved by the community.
Bucky was a collector of treasures, including friends. If you were labeled as “dignified,” you were blessed to be a favorite. He made an impact on all who knew him.
Graveside funeral services were held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Willow Springs with Pastor Doug Collins officiating. Services were under the care of Bradford Funeral Home and online condolences may be left at www.bradfordfuneralhome.net
