West Plains Area Farmers Market (WPAFM) is expanding its vendor base, and has announced it is open for new vendor participation.
Founded in 1982, the WPAFM is the longest-running and most established farmers market in the area. Located in East Towne Village, West Plains (just east of the Civic Center), the market serves customers year-round in both indoor and outdoor facilities.
“We are currently offering local farmers, gardeners, craftspeople and artisan bread and cookie/sweets makers the opportunity to participate in our year-round weekly (twice per week in summer) markets, or on an as-needed-basis,” said WPAFM board president Paul Chateauvert. “We encourage any and all local farmers, bakers, and handicrafters to apply. We know our guests enjoy tasty sweet treats, fresh-baked items, and quality preserved foods. We welcome those vendors as well. Our market has enjoyed increased participation from the public, and our goal is to continue offering a wide variety of the highest quality products to our guests,” said Chateauvert.
Annual WPAFM vendor membership fees are only $50 per year, with no additional fees or set-up charges. In lieu of an annual membership, a per day set-up charge is $5.
