Good Samaritan Care Clinic, located in Mountain View, has provided free health care services for the uninsured for 15 years.

During this period the clinic’s medical and dental services have assisted patients from more than 25 counties in Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas. The nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization was chartered in 2003 and began seeing patients in February 2004.

Thousands of sick and underserved individuals have been given help and hope because of the services provided by Good Samaritan Care Clinic, but the success and longevity of the clinic is due primarily to the hundreds of volunteers who have given of their time and talent throughout the years.

In recognition of the thousands of donated hours and the many friends who have helped the clinic along the way, the Board of Directors and Advisory Council of Good Samaritan Care Clinic are planning a 15th Anniversary Volunteer Recognition Celebration . The drop-in event will be held at the Mountain View Community Center (located at 125 E. 1st Street) on Sunday afternoon, June 9, 2019, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The free celebration will be hosted for all of the clinic’s past and present volunteers, and their families. There will be food, door prizes, T-shirts for all volunteers, and lots of great memories. All past and present volunteers are encouraged to attend and may RSVP or seek information by contacting the clinic at 417-934-6500,,, or through Facebook.

This event is being underwritten by the following sponsors: GOLD Level – Landmark Bank and West Plains Savings & Loan; SILVER Level – Birch Tree Place, West Plains Bank & Trust, and anonymous donors.
