Community First Banking Company represents a good neighbor at its best, as demonstrated by their desire and willingness to step forward to make a contribution to the Ozarks Medical Center (OMC) Foundation “Building the Future” expansion campaign.

“When I visited with Michael, he indicated they saw the expansion as a huge economic boom, but more importantly, as meeting the healthcare needs of his friends, neighbors, staff, and family.  We thank Community First Banking Co. for reaching out to us and encouraging others to emulate through generosity,” said Carol Silvey, Vice President for Advancement, OMC Foundation.  “The foundation would welcome any opportunity to visit about the exciting days ahead at OMC.”

“We are very pleased to be able to help kick off the campaign for OMC.  The economic benefit of this expansion is extraordinary for a community our size,” stated Michael Hoff, President and CEO, Community First Banking Company.  “However, the benefit for the health and welfare of our community greatly surpasses the economic benefit.”

The “Building the Future” expansion campaign was created to assist OMC in bringing many of their providers under one roof, expand the hospital to connect to the Shaw Building, create a first ever state-of-the-art Women’s Center in the region, and provide overall more convenient, compassionate care to all it serves.

The Ozarks Medical Center Foundation, established in 1998 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) with a local board of directors, serves as a liaison between the donor and OMC to assist the hospital in providing excellent healthcare to the communities it serves.  For more information or to make a gift to the OMC Foundation, please call 417-853-5200.
