Sweet success!

Trunk-or-treat returned to Main St this year in Willow Springs. Friday night’s Halloween celebrations drew throngs of costumed kids (and kids at heart) to collect candy, compete in costume contests, and enjoy a hayride.

The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce reports the crowds may have been, “the biggest turnout yet!” The Willow Springs Lions Club gave free hayrides to at least 150 riders. Waggoners Home Center sponsored and judged the costume contest, and many Willow Springs businesses and organizations decorated trunks and gave out candy by the handful.
