Mtn. View Business Burglarized

Chayton Brumble, 20, of Mountain View, was arrested after allegedly breaking into Forget-Me-Not during the overnight hours of May 31. He is accused stealing multiple items from the vendor market and fabric store. In a phone interview, Police Chief James Perkins said Brumble entered the premises through the backdoor, disabled all eight cameras, and began stealing inventory.
According to court documents, police found tool marks on the back door and the door frame of Forget-Me-Not as well as on the next-door business, Ozark Trading Post. While OzarkTrading Post was not burglarized, it was reportedly left in a way that would have afforded easy entry for a burglary to occur.
All items stolen were recovered and identified by the store owner. Brumble was transported to Howell County Jail and was later charged and held on a $7,000 bond.
Bumble remains in custody as of press time.
