Hutton Valley Pie Social

The annual pie social at the Hutton Valley Schoolhouse took place on the afternoon of July 4. This year, the function served the double function of upholding a traditional social event and raising funds for Neighborhood Christian Schools, the school that will be housed there this fall. Organizers were pleased with the turnout and the fundraising results. 
The event featured a pie and homemade ice cream contest. 
For the pies, prizes were awarded to: 
1: Rhonda Nelson, pecan
2: Jenni Carey & Janet Davis, flaky apple
3: Annabelle McAlister, lemon meringue
For the ice cream:
1: Lynette Thomas, rocky road
2: Terri Law, vanilla
3: Cindy Hinds, cookies n cream
