Three-way race for Mtn. View mayor, and two school board races

The filing period candidates in the upcoming election closed on December 30, and the races have taken shape. Two school boards, West Plains R-VII and Willow Springs, have had enough filings for a contested race.

In Mountain View, both aldermen wards are contested, and there is a three-way race for mayor.

In Fairview school district, a bond issue will be on the ballot. In the city of Willow Springs, voters will decide whether or not to nix the city marshal position.

Election day is April 7.
