Associate judge seat a four-way race

Before the candidate filing window closed, two more Republican contenders entered the race for the Division 3 Associate Judge seat in Howell County. As previously reported, Larry Burton, of Mountain View, and Marty Simpson, of West Plains, filed to run. 

 

Last week, they are joined by Heath Hardman and Lyndell N. Beard, both of West Plains. 

 

All candidates are running as Republicans, which means the seat will be decided in the August primary election unless an Independent joins the race. 

 

No Democrats filed for the seat. 

 

Primary election day is August 4.
