The Willow Springs Arts Council is excited to sponsor an acrylic painting class featuring “Roosters.” The class will be held on Saturday, June 10 upstairs at the Ferguson Building from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost for the class is $20 and all supplies are included.

Participants can pre-register at the Ferguson Building during office hours with a $5 deposit and receive a discount on the total cost of the class making it only $15. Walk-ins are welcome the day of the workshop at the regular fee.

Local artist and educator, Whitney Smith, will be conducting the workshop. Whitney has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and has participated in numerous art shows. She has received recognition for her work in watercolor, print making, and ceramic sculpture. She will provide step-by-step instruction for creating an original 20”x16” painting.
