Mtn. View Garden Club Christmas Swag Workshop fast approaching

Red velvet bows seem inappropriate for this time of year, but it is time to mark calendars for the annual Christmas Swag Workshop held the week after Thanksgiving. For 2025 the dates are Monday, Dec. 1, Tuesday, Dec. 2, and Wednesday, Dec. 3. This event is a three-day workshop sponsored by the Mountain View Garden Club with the cooperation and help from the City of Mountain View. The large room in the Mountain View Community Center is prepared, greenery is gathered, and supplies, including the red bows are assembled and 100 swags are put together, readied for hanging around the community. A pot luck lunch is provided each day. This effort takes much work and volunteers are necessary for it to be a success.
