Household water well drilling loan program at SCOCOG

South Central Ozark Council of Governments (SCOCOG) is offering a low interest loan program for eligible homeowners needing water well drilling within the 7-county region of Douglas, Howell, Oregon, Ozark, Shannon, Texas, and Wright Counties.
Eligibility and information pertaining to the low interest loan program includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Must show proof of property ownership and occupancy (no rental properties, Contract for Deed or Owner Financing)
- Have a combined household income less than $65,000 per year
- The loan recipient must pay a minimum of $250 with application submittal
- Must show an ability to make payments at 4% interest rate
- The maximum loan amount is $20,000
