Free Throw Championship to be held Jan. 25

A Free Throw Championship for boys and girls, ages 9 to 14, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the Munford Gymnasium in Willow Springs, Mo.

 

The contest will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be for boys and girls ages 9 to 14, with effective age as of January 1, 2025.

 

Since 1972, the Knights of Columbus has sponsored a basketball Free Throw Championship for boys and girls from the ages of 9 to 14 to provide an athletic outlet and encourage the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition. Kids compete within their own gender and age and progress from local level to district, regional and state/province competitions. A parent or guardian will need to approve and verify the applicant’s entry form, available on the competition day and competition site, or download an entry form at https://www.kofc.org/un/en/forms/council/freethrow_score_p.pdf and bring it to the competition.
