Blood Drive Oct. 21 in Willow Springs

The American Red Cross continues to amplify the ongoing critical need for blood and platelets to keep the blood supply stable as fall begins. Donors of all blood types, especially those with type O blood, those giving platelets and those who have never given before, are needed now.

Due to the disruption of donor collection with the storm damage in the Eastern United States, there is an even greater need for donors from other areas.

Make an appointment to give now by visiting RedCrossBlood.org, calling 1-800-REDCROSS or by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App. In thanks, those who come to give before Oct. 31 will receive a $10 Amazon.com Gift Card by email, plus be automatically entered for a chance to win one of three $5,000 gift cards. For full details, visit RedCrossBlood.org/Treat

There will be an American Red Cross Blood drive held at the United Methodist Church, 311 N. Harris, Willow Springs, on Oct. 21, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. To secure your appointment at any time during those hours, go to www.RedCrossBlood.org  or dial 1-800-RedCross and follow the prompts.
