Willow Springs FFA hosts Aggie Olympics
Willow Springs High School FFA hosted 150 students from 23 schools for the third annual Aggie Olympics on Thursday evening. FFA members competed in seven events – hay bale toss, firewood stacking, fence building, BB range, wheelbarrow racing, nail driving, and goat halter chasing.
Winners of individual contests included:
Firewood Stacking – First, Mountain Grove; second, Mountain Grove; third, Cabool.
Fence building – First, Cabool; second, Salem 4; third, Willow Springs 1.
Halter chasing – First, Mountain Grove 1; second, Salem 4; third, Cabool.
Nail driving – First, West Plains 4; second, Cabool; third, Salem 4.
Wheelbarrow race – First, West Plains 4; second, Willow Springs 4; third, Dora 3.
Hay bale toss – First, Cabool; second, Mountain Grove 4; third, West Plains 5 (Redneck).
BB range – First, Bakersfield 2; second, Mountain Grove 3; third, West Plains 4.
Pentathlon (overall) – First, Cabool; second, Salem 4; third, West Plains 4; fourth, West Plains 3.
