July 31
Cpl. Hocking made a traffic stop in the parking lot of Willow Springs Villa Apartments. After an investigation, he arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated. Charges will be forwarded to Howell County Prosecutors Office as a possible driving while intoxicated felony status. 
Officer Barnhouse and Deputy Chief Boyle responded to a non-injury hit and run auto accident. The incident will be under investigation.

Sgt. Zeller responded to East Main St for a verbal disturbance.  
Officers spoke to six individuals requesting information or assistance and issued four traffic warnings.
August 1
Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses. 
Animal Control Andy Logan investigated a report of nuisance overgrown grass and weeds on North Harris Street. 
Cpl. Hocking, Officer Barnhouse, and Officer McGinnis responded to It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere in reference to a male yelling and cussing and making statements about fighting the police. Their investigation found the individual exposed himself earlier in the evening to the general public view on the property. While speaking to the individual, he became irate, and officers placed him into custody. They issued the individual citations and also trespassed him from the place of business.
Officers spoke to six individuals requesting information or assistance and issued eight traffic warnings.
August 2
Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses. 
Officer Clark conducted a security check on an abandoned vehicle on Split Oak Road. 
Officer McGinnis assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol. 
Officers issued five traffic warnings. 
August 3
Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses. 
Officer McGinnis trespassed a subject from Love's Truck stop and escorted them off of the premises.
Officer McGinnis responded to North Ash for a verbal domestic disturbance. 
Sgt. Zeller conducted a requested wellbeing check on North Center St. 
Officer Gates responded to Post Oak Drive for a report of a domestic altercation. 
Officer McGinnis responded to North Ash Street for a domestic disturbance. 
Officer McGinnis took a report of trespassing. 
Officers spoke to two individuals requesting information or assistance and issued three traffic warnings.
August 4
Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses. 
AC Logan investigated a report of nuisance vegetation, trash, rubble, and inoperative vehicles on Pine Grove Road.
Officer McGinnis responded to a property damage report on North Ferguson Street.
Officer Clark responded to a commercial alarm. 
AC Logan checked on a dog running at large on West Tenth St. 
Sgt. Zeller conducted a requested wellbeing check on North Garfield St. 
Officer McGinnis responded to a verbal disturbance on Shady Lane. 
Chief Ellison and Officer Gates assisted an oversized load through Main Street. 
Officer Gates responded to East Tenth Street for a juvenile problem. 
Officer Gates contacted the parties of a peace disturbance report on East Sixth Street. 
Officer McGinnis took a property damage report. 
Officer McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses. 
Officers spoke to nine individuals requesting information or assistance and issued one traffic warning.
August 5
Officer Barnhouse conducted security checks of local businesses. 
Deputy Chief Boyle responded to assist a Howell County Deputy on Railroad Drive in reference to an abandoned vehicle. 
Deputy Chief Boyle responded to East 6th St. in reference to possible stolen dogs. The homeowner reported they believed someone came onto their property and stole two beagle puppies while they were away. There were no areas within the pen that would allow the dogs to escape as it was substantial and closed securely. Case remains open pending further investigation.
AC Logan conducted an animal welfare check. 
Officer McGinnis responded to a commercial alarm. 
AC Logan picked up a dog running at large on West Tenth St. 
AC Logan conducted a wellness check on a dog on East High St. 
Sgt. Zeller responded to Sixth Street for a report of someone throwing eggs, striking a person. 
Sgt. Zeller took a report of an assault. 
Officer McGinnis assisted EMS with a medical call on East Sixth St. 
Deputy Chief Boyle assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Officer on Railroad Drive. 
Sgt. Zeller responded to East Main Street for a physical domestic altercation. 
Sgt. Zeller took a report of harassment. 
Officer McGinnis removed debris from the roadway.
Officer McGinnis responded to a report of a suicide attempt on South Harris Street. EMS transported the individual.
Officer McGinnis took a report trespassing on East Sixth Street.
