An individual turned in cash found after the parade. Officers secured the funds.
Sgt. Joby Hoopes took a report of a bicycle striking a vehicle parked at the school parking lot.
Officer Jake Cronin responded to East Sixth St. for a report of peace disturbance. He found the subject uncooperative. Officer Cronin deescalated the situation and calmed both parties down.
Officer Jim Hedlesten assisted EMS with a medical call.
September 10
Officer Cronin assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol with a vehicle accident involving a deer on US Hwy. 60/63.
September 11
Officers received a call-in regard to a runaway juvenile from Licking. They responded to a residence on Garfield St. where the homeowner advised them of another location. Officers located the juvenile on East Third St. The juvenile fled and officers contacted them on North Ash St.. They released the juvenile to Juvenile Officers from Texas County.
Officer David Hocking conducted a security check at Friga Tire. He found the building secure.
September 12
Officer David Struble conducted a security check at a residence on Lane Street. He located individuals sleeping inside and informed them they are not allowed on the property. Both parties left.
September 13
Love’s Truck Stop reported a concern about a juvenile in the company of two adults. Investigation found the adults to be the child’s grandparents.
Officer Ryan McGinnis responded to Love’s Travel Stop for a report of a subject with a knife threatening an employee. He placed the subject on a 24-hour hold.
