Betty Joe (Roberts) Miller

Betty Joe (Roberts) Miller was born on April 24, 1943, to Joe D. Roberts and Thelma M. (Morrow) Roberts in Newport, Arkansas. She passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 79.

She was married to Harold Arthur Miller on February 24, 1960. To this union five daughters were born. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; three daughters, Dena Faye, Gloria Dianne, and infant daughter, Sheila Gay; a son-in-law, David Spahn; and four brothers, Billy Joe, JD Roberts, Lewis Roberts, and Roy Heisler.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Sonja Spahn of Saint Louis, MO, and Virginia Miller of Bourbon, MO; two granddaughters, Crystal (Michael) and Kimberly; two great-grandsons, Gabriel and Benjamin; one great-granddaughter, Zeraphina; one brother, Dick Henry (Jeanette) Heisler of Lynn, AR; four sisters, Winnie Hulen of Batesville, AR, Annie Barnes of Kansas City, MO, Alice Fay Wilson of Grubbs, AR, and Agnes (Noyal) Jones of Grubbs, AR; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Betty enjoyed cooking and watching the birds outside her windows. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with them. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Bro. Bill Miller officiating. Visitation was held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment was in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
