WSFD offers free smoke alarms, installation

The Willow Springs Fire Department, in partnership with the American Red Cross, announces the launch of a new program that provides a free smoke alarm to be installed by a firefighter in local homes. Residents of the City of Willow Springs and members of the Willow Springs Rural Fire Protection Association are eligible for this program.

If you are interested in having a WSFD firefighter install a smoke alarm in your home for free, discuss a fire escape plan and answer any questions you may have about home fire safety please contact the fire department by emailing: wsfd@willowspringsmo.com, WSRFPA@gmail.com, or calling Willow Springs City Hall at 417-469-2107 and they will forward the message to department personnel, and you will be contacted to set up an appointment for installation.

If you are not a member of the Willow Springs Rural Fire Protection Association and live in the coverage area please email WSRFPA@gmail.com and they will help you become a member.
Membership dues are $50/year and prevent you from getting a bill should you have a fire at your residence.
