Willow Springs to hold Annual 4th of July Parade

Drums are drumming, pipers are piping. Come one, come all! It’s time for the Willow Springs Annual 4th of July Parade. The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce wants to support all of Veterans of foreign and domestic wars. One way to display true patriotism is to participate in the historic characters by dressing in period costumes. Just select anyone who is an American hero. Your choice, it can be a familiar or not so familiar character. If assistance is needed to join in the fun, contact Jane Bailey at 417-469-2588 or the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce who is the sponsor for this unique event. The chamber wants to see a lot of spectators as well. Make plans now to attend this event.

 

Make sure and fill out an entry form for parade participation. This can be found at www.wschamber.net under the EVENTS tab, or pick one up at the chamber office located at 120 W. Main St. in downtown Willow Springs.

 

Parade line-up will be at 9:00 a.m. at Booster Field. ALL parade participants are asked to check-in at Booster Field for line-up direction.
