'Talk Derby To Me' Kentucky Derby party May 4

The Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce announces the upcoming “Talk Derby To Me” Kentucky Derby party. This party will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 4:30 p.m. at the Ferguson Building upstairs meeting room in downtown Willow Springs. This event will include live stream viewing of the Kentucky Derby race as well as a catered dinner by Pizza Americana. The menu will include: Pulled pork or pulled chicken, vegan option, mashed potatoes, corn and green beans, garden salad with dressing, roll with butter, and assorted dessert pizzas.

 

The Chamber will have a Best Dressed/Best Hat Contest to include: Best Hat; Cutest Couple; Dapper Dan–Best Dressed Man; and Southern Belle–Best Dressed Woman.

 

There will be a 50/50 raffle on the horse race winner. The evening will wind up with both silent auction items and a live auction. The live auction items will include: Luxury suite for 18 people at a Springfield Cardinals game, donated by Chevy Dealers of the Ozarks-Baily Chevrolet; Two nights at Granny B’s Cabin-River Resorts on the Eleven Point River, donated by River Resorts-Thomasville, MO; Annual membership to Dogwood Canyon for two adults; and more auction items will be upcoming.
