MV-BT School Board to meet Jan. 15

The Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District Board of Education will meet on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Birch Tree Elementary School Library.

 

Items on the agenda for the evening will include:

 

- Approval of minutes from the December board meeting

- Approval of payment of monthly bills

- Monthly administrative/principal reports

- MSBA Delegate report/training and meetings

- Payment related to individuals related to board members

- Monthly financial report and budget amendments

- Board candidate filing update

- MSBA policy updates

- Goals, objectives, and parameters for negotiations with MVBT bus drivers

- Set tuition rates for the 2026-2027 school year

- Update given by Mr. Chowning on safety, facility planning, and transportation

- Administrators reports on their buildings

- Director reports on their departments

- Student board representatives will present student information and concerns

 

The board will then enter into closed session via RSMo 610.021 (1) Legal actions, causes of action or litigation; (3) Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting; and (13) Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or records.
