Disney’s THE LION KING JR. playing at the Melba Theatre in Houston

Disney’s The Lion King JR. is playing Fridays and Saturdays at Melba Theatre starting on October 21 at 7:00pm through November 5. Visit website for details www.thstarsfoundation/events. The 60-minute musical designed for school aged performers is based on the Broadway production directed by Julie Taymor and the 1994 Disney film. The STARS Foundation cast contains approximately 48 students led by a student director, Abigail Sundahl of Branson, Missouri and choreographed by Bailey Gilkeson of Raymondville under the direction of executive director of STARS, Rebecca Peterson.

A performance of Disney’s The Lion King JR. can be reserved for $8 a ticket by calling 417-217-9430 or $10 at the door. It is general seating and box office will open 1 hour prior to show. Concessions are available to support the Melba Theatre.
