Let it Grow! Belle Smith at the Mountain View Public Library will be teaching children ages 6-16 about growing flowers and vegetables in containers.
She will show the young gardeners how to plant seeds, transplant seedlings, water, weed, harvest their produce, or make a pretty bouquet of flowers.
Children will take care of their plants and make fun crafts for the garden at each session. All gardening tools and supplies are funded by the Mountain View Garden Club.
Let it Grow! begins Tuesday, April 20, and will run every Tuesday through July 20. Session one is 10:30 -11:30 a.m. and session two is from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
