Car Seat Safety Check Up event to be held Sept. 23

A Car Seat Safety Check Up event will be held Saturday, Sept. 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Go Farm Farmer's Market located at 805 Worley Drive in West Plains, MO.

Almost 46 percent of car seats are installed incorrectly. Help change this statistic. The Southwest Coalition for Raodway Safety along with local safety partners are hosting car seat check up events during National Child Passenger Safety Week.

Car Seat Technicians will perform car seat inspections and provide education; discuss car seat installtion and usage; and review expiration dates and car seat recalls.
