2024 Festival Footprint and Shuttle Stops

The 2024 Old-Time Music, Ozarks Heritage Festival in downtown West Plains, will be held Friday and Saturday, June 7 and 8, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The annual two-day event in downtown West Plains celebrates Ozarks music and culture.

This year's Festival footprint will change, encompassing vendors and activities from the east lawn of the Civic Center, up East Main and around Court Square.

The east lawn of the Civic Center will become an encampment, featuring living history from four eras – Native American, Colonial, Mountain Men (Rendezvous), and the Civil War era. Workshops and demonstrations on musical and traditional arts will continue to be presented at the Civic Center, and a Quilt Walk is planned throughout the downtown area, where history docents also will be located. Digital maps for the Quilt Walk, and history docent locations will be available online and printed copies will be available at the Festival information booths.

An outside stage will be placed on Court Square for additional music throughout the day.

Because of the increased size of the footprint, additional carts will be provided so that attendees can easily move from one location to another. Look for the bright green poles for the actual stops at the Civic Center (both sides), Senior Center, Courthouse, Washington Ave. at Dixon, Yellow House, Garnett Library.
