Back the Blue raffle raises $2,300
The Willow Springs Community Foundation sponsored a Back the Blue playing card raffle to benefit the Willow Springs Police Department. Fifty-two ticket holders vied for a chance to win a Ruger 6.5 Creedmore, donated by Howell County News and C&R Gun and Pawn. The ticket proceeds plus $550 in private donations put $2,370 in the WSPD budget. Chief Wes Ellison says the funds will go toward safety equipment.
