Area youth donates pig to veterans

Half a pig was donated by Josie Hill from Mountain View. Hill is 19 years old and is pictured above with her father, Sean Hill, who is a Veteran. The pig, named Gravy, recently won an FFA award. It is a York breed weighing in at 285 pounds. The pig is being processed by Minton Heritage Farms. Hill said she wanted to donate the pig to the area veterans because, "they have done so much for us and our nation." Hill went on to say that she wanted to thank all veterans for their service to our country and would like to donate more in the future.
